The Albertson's doublers only come out every once in a while. This month we had them three times though! You can check at the store to get the doublers for free. (Or for folks like me-- who making the trip to town is an ordeal--) OR you can pick them up in the Oregonian. The crappy BEND BULLETIN doesn't have HALF the coupons and doesn't give out the DOUBLERS.
Safeway has doublers all the time. They'll double up to .50 of ANY manufacturers coupon.
They will allow you to do most any number of transactions. We did nine last week one day. But I used the self check-- so it wasn't holding anyone up. A little more time-- but you can keep track easier-- I think.
Albertson's doublers double up to 1.00 -- but can not be used on a coupon that is valued for more than 1.00. SO-- they are no good on a 1.25 off coupon. (No more than 3 per transaction, and 3 transactions per trip in to the store. Just go unload and do another trip in) =0) They don't mind.
All the local merchants allow one manufacturers and one in store coupon, and if they double-- you can use the doubler for a third coupon on one item.
Freddy's will also accept ONE Safeway doubler per trip.
SOME Fred's checkers know the policies better than others. Make sure you have a copy of the policy on hand. It's not my favorite place to go unless I am getting a screaming deal.
Walmart-- take the policy. The Redmond store checkers aren't aware most of the time. Often I can explain it and they just fix it-- but one had to call a manager to prove that I know what doubling means, and she didn't. (No you can't double at Wally's. But she thought that doubling meant to use two of the same kind. So-- I would only be able to use one coupon even if I had two products. (this is the SECOND checker that thought this btw) She was wrong. LOL.... )
